Connection technology specialist WAGO and Arrow Electronics have signed a distribution agreement at the electronica trade show in Munich. The sales agreement is initially valid for the European market and includes WAGO’s PCB connection technology.
WAGO products, which include PCB terminal blocks and connectors, as well as SMD PCB terminal blocks, will be available at Arrow in January 2017. Signing this agreement broadens WAGO’s distribution network, with the added benefit that WAGO is teaming up with Arrow – a professional and established distributor.
New distributor strengthens WAGO presence in Europe.
Arrow Electronics is one of the world’s leading distributors of semiconductors, passive components, electromechanical components and embedded solutions. In addition, the company provides services that include logistics services and solutions for industrial and business users of electronic components and enterprise IT solutions in conjunction with an extensive distribution network. “With its activities in different industries, Arrow is an important distributor for design-in projects,” explains Jürgen Schäfer, Sales Director (CSO) at WAGO. “The availability at Arrow offers users the opportunity to purchase our first-class products together with important complementary products for the printed circuit board from a distributor directly from a single source,” says Schäfer. Christian Schemat, Marketing Group Manager EMCO at Arrow, also emphasized the importance of the collaboration: “We are delighted, that with WAGO, we have gained a renowned manufacturer and a strong brand as part of our product offerings.”
