ML4CPS – Machine Learning for Cyber Physical Systems and Industry 4.0

Starting October 1, 2015 a two day conference on „Machine Learning for Cyber Physical Systems and Industry 4.0“[1] will be held by the Fraunhofer IOSB-INA[2] Institute at their Lemgo, Germany[3] based site.

Cyber Physical Systems are characterized by their ability to adapt and learn. They analyze their environment and, based on observations, learn patterns, correlations and predictive models. Typical applications are condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, image processing and diagnosis. Machine Learning is the key technology for these developments.

The conference offers a forum to present new approaches to Machine Learning for Cyber Physical Systems, to discuss experiences and to develop visions. For this, the conference addresses researchers and users from different industry sectors such as production technology, automation, automotive and telecommunication.[1]

Fraunhofer IOSB-INA is research partner of the German leading edge cluster “Intelligent Technical Systems Ostwestfalen-Lippe” (ITS-OWL).
